Which Chassis to buy for a well built chappie

Hi guys, first post on this forum and I am thinking of building a locost in the near future. First thing I'm concerned about is what chassis to buy, I'm 6ft 3in and weigh about 16Stone. I've heard that Lotus 7 style cars are tight on space and therefore as I've never driven one before this is going to be an issue for me. Do some manufacturers make slightly longer/wider chassis to cope for those of us who are on the large side?? If so where should I be looking to buy one.

I believe luego do a few bigger cars (viento is it?), others of repute include MK engineering, they probably have a bigger car than the normal one...

If you build your own, a chap called jim has some excellent plans of bigger chassis' on his site (not sure of the exact address though).
