Removable subframe?
My driving around car is a TR7V8, and from time to time I take the engine out. The easy way to do this is to undo the subframe on which the engine etc
is mounted, and lift the body off the engine essembly. On a Locost the G tubes and the engine mounts would prevent this. Has anybody experimented with
constructing a removable subframe instead? Even if nobody has, I am very tempted to have a go at it unless anybody has a beter idea?

Allright John,
I'll do my best!
I can take my pinto out from underneath by removing the engine mountings (sierra), undoing the gearbox/engine bolts and dropping it down on a trolley
jack, I think a removable frame *might* be an unecessary complication but each to his own!
Cheers
Chris
Note to all: I really don't know when to leave well alone. I tried to get clever with the mods, then when they gave me a lifeline to see the
error of my ways, I tried to incite more trouble via u2u. So now I'm banned, never to return again. They should have done it years ago!
