If you search for "mistakes" in the Chassis forum for the last three months, you should find mention of most of them...
Here's the ones I found so far
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
So far I have found pieces C,Q,P,J1 and J2 to be wrong.
C, Q and P are too short in both Book and McSorley. J1 and J2 are too long in Book but correct in Mc Sorley.
See my earlier post (need help with plans) for further details..
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I recommend you use the book as a guide, and use the McSorley plans for fine detail.
I won't comment on the front suspension mistakes as you will see recent posts about it and I am going to cross that bridge when I come to it.
Good luck and let me know if you want me to measure any bits on mine..

the positioning of fu1,1 and the suspension brackets requires careful consideration i have recently discovered. There are no details as to fu1,2
positions in the book....
see my recent thread for further info....

Download the book plans from Jim McSorley's website at
http://mcsorley.net/locost/default.htm
Then print out the whole thing on A4 paper. If you use a modern version of acrobat to read them you can print out odd pages first. Then replace them
into your printer and then print out the even pages on the other side.
I did this and also went to staples and bought a small thin A4 binder and one packet of A4 plastic wallets.
I then printed it all out as above and was able to take this new book into the garage. It's much better to work from, dimensions are acurate
and the whole thing goes together well. Being in the plastic wallets it didn't get filthy in the garage.
Nice one Jim, Thanks.
