upper harness mountings.

I need to fit some upper harness mounts to my chassis, originally i was going to use a rollbar with the mounts incorporated but now have a bar with a diagonal brace and so can not.I noticed that Stuart Taylor seems to get away with just welding two bushes to the rear chassis rail. This does not look good practice to me as it is putting a twisting force into the rail and looks likely to fail SVA.Has anyone got any ideas as to the best way to go about this?. I am using Stuart Taylor high back race seats and the mountings would need to be close in to the head rest area, does it matter if the belts rub against the seat? or would i be better off cutting clearance holes in them?
Paul.
