Welding floor in place

Welded my floor in today but just wanted to check how much weld I should be putting on - I've done approx 1 inch weld then 2 inch gap then 1 inch weld and so on, is this ok or should I "glue" some more?

I'm not the worlds greatest welder but I'm ok. I work as an electrical engineer on dock machines so regularly work with full time welders who have been doing it everyday for the last 20+ years and I'm not as good as them but for basic stuff I think I'm ok - I've been jumping up and down on the floor today to make sure it was stuck!!
