Roll Bar

Peeps,

Thought I'd just give a mention to a company I'm rather chuffed with - Caged (web: http://www.therollcagepeople.com )

Just got my roll bar and backstays from them and am very happy!!

Colin,

Paid (to make it sound cheap £120.

+ Del (£10) + VAT.

Aside of the article written about them in Kit Car mag, the reason I went with them is twofold - 1. They were the only people to reply to my email within a day (Safety Devices took over two weeks (absolutely not good enough) and 2. Very helpful/friendly - refer to comments made about Luego.

They supplied two backstays as well, with ends already cut, to join top hoop.

No pics at present - it's not fitted, just "resting" in place - will try and get pic up, as is, tonight (if I remember - busy trying to get everything ready to start engine at mo).

So the stays were not welded to the hoop by them?

Colin,

Without them having the car, I think it would be difficult, nigh on impossible for me to measure accurately enough for them to do that!

As it is, I'm going to weld feet onto hoop, and once SVA'd take the car to the welder (or if the old man hires a big tig for some site work borrow that) to fit backstays.

Simon,

Any chance of any pics of the rollbar? assembled or not! I'm looking into where to get mine done. I'm after a cds rollbar with stays down to the bottom corners at the rear of the chassis.

Cheers,

Ned.

beware, I've got yellow skin
