frame differences

the indy and the book frame is there any difference in the width of them?

in the width of the frame there isn't. we measured the cockpit area and it is identical (conrod's car vs stevem's book chassis as in "the book".

width of track is different (escort vs sierra) and height of frame is +1" on mk to allow taller engines.

next please.

isnt 'the book' 42 ins wide......therefore the Indy must be 42 ins if Ned is correct......

Tunnel narrower?
No need for a wide tunnel for a live axle when you've got a fixed diff IRS Indy?

Just a guess!

But Martin himself told me it was same basic dimensions.

Curiosity got the better of me, Chassis width is definately 42 inches.
