As a guide, I got through one 8' x 4' sheet of ally on my Indy. This did tunnel, rear bulkhead, scuttle front, battery tray and various
other little brackets and things. You'd need a second sheet for the floor though.
1.6mm for the floor and 0.7-1.0 for the rest.

Hi, I've just bought the metric equivalents of 8 x 4 sheets.
One was 18 gauge 1.2mm NS4 for the floor and the others were again 18 gauge but in 1050A pure aluminium for more or less for everything else.
I paid £31 for the 1050A and £35 for the NS4 plus the jolly old vodka and tonic!

I needed a sheet and a bit of 1.2 or 18swg to do tunnel sides and top, behind seats, front to scuttle and the pannel in front of scuttle. Price was
£46 all in.
1.2 was as thin as I wanted to go. And 1.6 for the floor.
