What is 16swg in mm?

Is everyone using 16swg or is this a bit thin?

That's what I've used- appears to be pretty standard stuff.
Coincidentally 16swg is 1.6mm.

I have left my book at home and about to order material is it 3/4" round tube or 1"?

The round chassis tubes (TR1/2 etc.) are 19mm
