Sylva Striker Engine mounts
Hi Guy's,
I've got a sylav striker with a silvertop zetec engine.
Has anyone else got the same spec ? If so, could you send me a photo of your engine mounts particulary the driver side please.
My current driverside mount has cracked and upon getting 2 new ones from Raw that are apparently for a silvertop, these dont fit.
Now I dont know if RAW has sent me the wrong ones or is that my engine is located all wrong in the engine bay.

If you have no joy, there are a couple of folk I know that could probably sort you out with custom ones e.g,
Bob Dowen in Cwmbran

Could you not send them back to Raw with the original and ask them to replicate?

These guy's are only 10 mins up the road from me.
I'll drop these a line tomorrow, if they cant help, then I'll have to send mine back to RAW and get them to replicate the orignals.

Strange that,
My driver side engine mount cracked on my Striker 4age. The design was not to bad but the triangulation webbing plates to reinforce the right angle
part were to short and actually created a weakness between the edge of the plate and a bolt hole. The design has drastically changed since.
Good luck with the new ones.
Track days ARE the best thing since sliced bread, until I get a supercharger that is!
