Building a Shelby Daytona
http://www.supercars.net/cars/1964@$Shelby@$Cobra%20Daytona%20Coupeg.html
Do you think building a car like this would be that much more difficult? I know I would have to build the chassis, but once that's completed,
the mechanical parts should be similar. Also, the body will be more difficult since you can't just rivet panels on and call it a body!

.............. since you can't just rivet panels on and call it a body!
Thats exactly what carol shelby did!
If you can keep you head, whilst all others around you are losing theirs, you are not fully aware of the situation

I believe if you look at factory5 or is factoryfive (google it) they have just started building kits for this one--a body may be available
seperately?? Shipping from Canada may be severa $

the shelby cobra daytone coupe is my dream car - one day i will build one.
have u guys heard that they are re-launching them (as per the new ford GT40 - or Ford GT as it is now known)
that means that they will be in the spotlight a lot more, and everyone will want one - a bit dissappointing to say the least.
but at the end of the day, it is a fantastic car, and im surprised no UK based company is making replicas yet (correct me if im wrong)
