Firstly I would suggest getting a cradle I have a zzr1100 which I hard installed welding the mounts to the chassis. Which is fine till you blow the engine up..... Then it's a nightmare to remove.

The cradle will have the engine in the right place for the prop to run down the tunnel and to the diff.

Don't have the line of sight from engine to diff too straight it causes wear its better to have a slight angle in it.

Since I hard installed the engine I've now cut it out to make a cradle while the engine is laid where it belongs.
Good luck.

no pics sorry due to ripping it all apart.

you can make a cradle which isnt too hard its just much easier to buy a cradle and the weld on the flat bar at the sides for it to bolt to.

the cradles you can see if guinness 's picture gallery...

these are the zzr1100 cradles which i assume is the same.

this should put the engine at the right angle.

Only downside is that you need to have a certain length propshaft.

as ive got to pay for a cradle making a little closer to the footwell cos i got a prop shorter than i needed.

Thanks....
