wet tires
was going to buy a set of wet tires and slicks for this years track days, already have some khumo v700s for the road but what exactly sets specific
wets and treaded tires apart?

Hi
Compound. In short a racing wet is unbelievably soft, relies on the cooling from the water to keep it in one piece - which if you ran it in the dry
you would soon find out about.. A normal treaded tyre is bullet hard in comparison.
Might be a tad OTT for track day's IMHO - Ok if it's ultimate wet weather grip you want and if there's prizes to be had then fair
enough but otherwise..
