What suspension spring rating?

Hi guys,

Building a locost. Suspension wise, what kind of spring ratings should I be looking at getting? I have a 2.0 8v dohc engine which is a pretty heavy lump so am I thinking a higher rating? Maybe 300-350lb?

Hi

for pure road use try the 300Lb. If intending to do trackdays and fewer road miles go for the 350Lb.

Cheers Matt

Out of interest, Matt, do you know what kind of suspension frequency this 300lb amounts to on a "standard" CEC locost? This would be useful input for me to do some calc's on the suspension of the Indy.
