First component
Hi all,
Just letting you know I have had my roll bar done, very pleased with it. Looking forward to the end of October and my weeks holiday to start
fabricating my chassis. Roll bar is only part I couldn't do.

Looks like copper water pipe in that pic, hopefully a tad stronger

Would be interested to see that without the polythene on it... probably just an optical illusion (or my ageing eyes!), but the bends seem to be
stepped and kinked in that photo.

Thanks Mike,
No, 50mm mild steel. Wall thickness 3.69mm so a bit beefier than I wanted but it isn't too heavy and certainly will be strong! I had it CNC bent
so is spot on to my CAD drawings. Pleased with it.

How's that for you? It's got nice smooth 2D radius's. I'm pleased with it, bit different to anything I've seen around
too.

Looks great, but why is it PLUGGED IN ?
Luego Locost C20XE.
Build start: October 6th 2008.
IVA passed Jan 28th 2011.
First drive Feb 10th 2011.
First show: Stoneleigh 1st/2nd May 2011.
'Used up' first engine may 3rd 2011!
Back on the road with 2nd engine may 24th
First PASA mad drive 26/7/11
Sold to Mike in Methyr Tydvil 19/03/14
