Trying to source a pedal box...any advice?
Hi
Looking for some advice on trying to source a pedal box by this weekend so the pressure is on! Its for a chassis that has been built to locust
spec.
We have been able to source a 2 stroke R1 engine with cable accelerator and clutch system but we are a little bit miffed on what the best pedal box
set up for it would be and where to source one very sharpish!
Can any one give some advice on this and point me in the direction of where I can buy a decent pedal box at a price that won't break the
bank?
Thanks!

Correct me if I'm wrong but aren't the R1 2-stoke engines only 250cc

I'm pretty sure its a 998cc 4-cylinder...it's second hand but does start and sounds fearsome!

I'm sure you've got a 4-stoke engine then and not a 2-stoke engine.

I forgot to tell you that I am noob to this....4 sounds better than 2 any anyway!
With that said, do you have any idea on what sort of peddle box we should be looking for?

OBP do pedal boxes which fit the locost chassis. Very good quality and they usually have them in stock too.

Thanks for advice guys, managed to get through to Rally Design who is offering a kit car specific pedal box for £150+VAT which seems reasonable but I
am not sure there are any in stock at the moment. Will give OBP a call in the morning so wish me luck.
Will keep you posted!
