How much box section?
Sorry if this has been asked before. Done a search & could'nt find anything.
Just looking for a starting point to give me a rough idea of cost to build a Haynes chassis. How much box section should I need to order?
Cheers John

6 lenghts of 25x25x1.5mm ERW
2 lenghts of 19x19x1.5mm ERW
Lenghts tend to be 6m.
Or add up the numbers in the back of the book!

Never argue with an idiot. They drag you down to their level, then beat you with experience.

That's more what I was asking. Not bad at cutting, but realistically I'm not going to get every one right. I'm sure most people are
the same.

So far I reckon I've wasted about a metre in offcuts, the only major cockups I've made were on the front part of the suspension as the
measurements I had were wrong (too short!). Turns out it was a blessing in disguise as Phil at Talon described a much better way of putting it
together.
I cut my pieces as I went, only doing two at a time where they are a matching pair on either side of the car.
I went for 6 x 25 and 2 x 19, as joneh describes.
