If I'm not totally mad then Taunus == Euro name for the Cortina. In which case yes they do work with transit drag link and maxi lower
balljoints.
It's the original design as per the book

Thanks mackie!!! That is how it must be! Here in Finland if u talk about Cortina it is model from 60s...like Lotus Cortina.. So if Taunus is same
car as Cortina from 80s, it made all easier, lot of donors here then

Not to mention the Hyundai Stellar, which was a Mk5 Cortina built under licence with strangly restyled body panels
If you can keep you head, whilst all others around you are losing theirs, you are not fully aware of the situation

The European Taunus was a wierd looking thing like a cross between a Cortina and a Corsair. There was a German reg one round the corner from us in the
80's. Stellars used McPherson struts later on in production instead of Cortina type uprights.
yours, Pete
I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

I used them from a 1988 Taunus 1.3 (Pinto) equivalent to the Mk 4 Cortina. It's exactly the same but I wouldn't use the donor lower
balljoints: they're usually in bad condition. Either use new ones or Maxi or Saab 900 ones (same taper 1/8).
