Pipe bending

I have a hydraulic pipe bender, but as with this , I dont think it will bend thin walled tubing without deforming it.

handy for roll bars and chassis tubes etc.

Looks good though

I have their link in my bookmarks.

They don't look Locost though.

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

Thin wall requires a proper die and follower to prevent the tube collapsing.

I imported one of these, works brilliantly, bends the thin stuff as well, I call 1.6mm wll thickness thin stuff, it may bend lighter stuff but I've never tried it

http://www.pro-tools.com/105.htm

A lot cheaper than the rachet type , but still expensive by the time, you get a selection of dies, shipping and of course the greedy goverment adds another 25%

Cheers
David

To bend thin wall tubing without reducing the ID requires a mandrel bender or the the ability to sand bend.
