which transit ball joint????

heres the problem:

transits have been on the go for years in various guises...

and i would imagine that several designs of ball joints have been used over the years....

so what years of manufacture / models are the ones big ron is on about???

the book appears a little vague on this

can't remember number, its in book, i had no problem getting 2 from local factors by giving them the number in the book.
Its a transit track rod end your looking for.

mk2 and early mk 3 had steering box not rack,the drag link has ball joints you need(there are 2 different thread sizes)you need 2 right hand thread joints,hope this narrows it down a bit for ya

Just ask for a drag link end. Needs an M18 fine thread on it, both right hand! Also get a lock nut if you can.
