which chassis

I bought a mk2 escort ealier this year & stripped it with the plan of buying an MK chassiswhen the winter came, just after I stripped it, the MK website changed & stated that they only make them to special order, now it states that they dont make them at all, so where do I go from here:-
Lolocost, round tubing, does'nt look anything like the book,
Luego, next cheapest, looks good,
Stuart Taylor, dont Know!

I want to buy a book chassis, swinging arms, trailing arms, panard rod, bushes,
nose cone, 4 wings & scuttle but none of them do a job lot price like MK did.

looking at loads of photos on the web there seems to be a great deal of differance in height of the various cars, are the high ones fitted with pintos, I will be fitting the 1300 kent engine, are these the lower looking ones, what dictates the height, are there different nose cones.

theres loads of questions for you, thanks in advance for any answers

News to me about MK, but i'd heard he was getting busy...

AVOID lolocost..... or so im told.

Luego and Stuart Taylor are well reputed. On the luego site they have details of the cars in bits that can be bought seperate. Click on one of their icons on this site cos they're the sponsors....

engine size does vary, tall ones can have the sump reduced a bit, and different noses are available, but some people still need to make a bulge.

Anyway thats nearly all i know, but you'll be fine.... loads of help from people on here if you get stuck on it all...

now i think on it though, i think luego stopped doing the book chassis.... surf and see.
