How much for aluminium sheet
I've just been quoted £33 + VAT per square metre for 2mm aluminium sheet. Is that expensive or the going rate these days?

i've just been to local metal supplier bought an 8' x4' sheet of 2mm for £40

thats more like the price i was expecting!!!!
I was in shock, i'm hoping to buy my ali in the summer and was starting to think about re mortgaging the house!

I checked the two suppliers near to me and paid £80 + Vat for 3m x 1.5m. They were both pretty much quoting the same price. That was for 1.2mm.

OMG  I was hoping to have the chassis done pretty soon with the floor and side panels fitted but i wont be able to afford that at the moment 
How long can i resist the temptation to drop a V8 in?

alu sheet
Seems they want to bend you over the counter and give you a stiff ---ing at thoses prices,there is a alu shortage on and all depends on which grade
alu you buy ,but paid around 20.00 for a 4x8 sheet .
