whilst we're on the subject of props, i just ordered mine from these people:

think it was lee (roadkill) who posted the link originally. they quoted 115+vat for a normal prop 955mm in length. i'll let you know on wednesday what it looks like! fingers crossed i measured right!

That's worth knowing so that a bit of price haggling can perhaps take place between the two of them.

Not sure if this should be a new topic, but does anyone recommend how muich clearance there should be around the propshaft?

the Propshaft Clinic in Bradford is a FANTASTIC place - i had all my driveshafts and front prop reconned there and it wernt much, cant remember how much i payed, but was very happy with it, and the service was top much reccomended there

sufficient so that it doestn hit anything! depends on if you have a live or fixed diff too. And how much your engine thrashes about.

an inch would be plenty with everything fixed - ie not live axle
