Sierra speedo changed to VDO look
and Golf /Audi additional gauges

Searching thru internet i found that scorpio mk1 2.0 dohc has a nice circle rev counter .

Think it will do the job.
I was thinking to buy new VDO or Autogauge rev counter but...
I'm afraid of will they work properly without any electrical changing or adding any stuff to loom.

Dang ..... I almost did not see this build

Hi

I think you should be proud of this Robin Hood look alike tube made seven... dang it's nice

I really like the way how the round tubes are used in the middle of the car. How big are the tubes and the thickness of it, dia in/out?

I would like to ask some questions if I can: Is the car the same measurements as RH or is it a little different!
The inside dimension of the cockpit, tube to tube how many cm!
The seats how wide in the bottom and how high .... I did try to get some info from the make/producer but could not find any!!

Take your time... use your time rather to make your car going then write back at once.

I really would like to have a round tube chassis seven ...... its just a smooth and beauty......

Thats all for now.

Best luck
Orvar

Hi.

Maybe in 2 months when I finish ,fix all the bugs that frame has , then I will be happy.

tubes are OD 38 mm 2,2 wall

inside from left to right ( tom. will check)

seats those are made by jungpower.pl

seats , body kit others

I can tell that this tube frame is nice and big inside but terrible to grab, cover it with alu sheet
Suspension need to be made as in the Haynes Book.
Rear suspension with heavy sierra parts its heavy lump.

Some progress.
Front suspension finished. Fully weld
Need adjustment when all parts goes into frame.
Looks much better on 17 inch rims , hope will drive the same good.
Now I'm on the back back of the chassis finishing tail , fuel pump bracket, tank holder and fuel filler ( from Fiat 126p )
I was looking for sparco one but it is too expensive for this season for me.125 pounds
Shiny weather soon...I'll be ready

You are doing good....

Some new approaches and nice feature her in this build, nice to watch.

Keep on with the good work and then one day the summer time is back.

How is it, are you and the master-frame maker doing a better frame with this changes on your car and then putting the frame in production or is it just yours own ideas to make the car handle better!!

All for now.... thx

I bought this frame 2 years ago.
After registred and studying some forum and talking to other builders i figure it out that it has a lot of bugs and mistakes in front suspension and elsewhere.
Changes ive made was for my protection.

for example front suspension before changes ( original)
take a look on front upper and bottom wishbone

this picture shows how terrible and wrong camber suspension was ....fucking hightmare to adjust.
Hell no way to adjust proper.

no camber

new suspension mounts with new wishbones
camber 8 to 10 degrees

Big job done

I can see that you have been on with changes both front and rear.
You did lower the the top A-arms mounts into the chassis and in rear you did put some lighter tubes in.
I did see the A-arms where going down from chassis to the wheel, but now its upwards as I can see it. That's a better way ......

Just like many her are doing put the car together and then make it suitable after registration..... fix it at first and then......

I still think your chassis is stunning, strong and heavy, but nice lines in it ....

All the best
