My Welder is the most cost effective tool I have ever bought.
It owes me nothing. I have not built a chassis with it. however, the convenience of welding up brackets, the kids bikes, the wifes kitchen bits,
patches on the land Rover Chassis... Its more than paid for itself.
I still cant weld neatly, however, nothing has broken yet, and thats 5 years on.
Get as Big a welder as you can afford. Try for the bottom end of the Professional ranges, as they are so much better quality than the cheapo hobby
range.
Its a long term investment, especially if you are building cars and generally a handy guy in the garage.
1. The point of a journey is not to arrive.
2. Never take life seriously. Nobody gets out alive anyway.
