rough rear deck size
Just about to order some aluminium to make a cover for the boot/rear deck area, but i forgot to measure it last night!! What are the rough sizes??
Its a Stuart Taylor if that makes much difference.
I am guessing a 1mx0.5m sheet would be large enough?

Just measured my Indy and if you bought a piece 1100mm X 450mm it would be more than enough. Mine is 1050mm wide.
Cleobury Mortimer, I was at Boarding school just up the road 35 years ago, I think its an activity centre now.
I was in the Kings Arms for lunch a couple of weeks ago.
I see Morely oak has fallen over.

The book chassis, is 42" or 1066.8mm so you'll be left a little short with that size of sheet, I'd try to find a 4'*2'
sheet (1220mm*610mm) just to be safe.

Surely the boot top sits inside the lips of the fibreglass rear panel so will not be as wide as the chassis, or am I missing something?

cheers all, will get over 1m then.
Steve, there is a place just outside the cleobury called the pioneer centre which is an outdoor activity place, not sure if that was your old school.
The old school actually in cleobury has now been converted to houses. The Kings arms is my local, but there are plenty to choose from

Ah, it may need 1050 then.
Yes it was the Pioneer centre, or Stalag Luft 13 as we sometimes called it
