Chassis number again...........

I can only find 4mm letter-number punches on the Screwfix site. Where can I get larger ones or will these be OK?

if you intend to use Gillingham, then you should be OK with 4mm

Check with Ben_Copeland in Margate
I'm sure he used 4mm for his SVA.

Ebay + Frost auto (amongst others) sell bigger punches (typically 5mm)

I used 4 mm Machine Mart ones, full set of letters and numbers for a tenner.

Passed ... but if you wereto measure, like I did, the letters are a tad under 4 mm, I'd think you'd be very unlucky if the inspector got a vernier caliper out to measure.....
