Fuel pipe

Guys and gals

More appropriate to IRS but others may have an idea.

How have you routed your fuel pipe from tank to tunnel - seems a long a tortuous route.

Going across the gap (see pic) doesn't seem safe or SVA'able.

I'm putting mine along rear sub, then parallel to lower w/bone mounting then along rear of rear bulkhead, then into tunnel

Thanks

Simon

Unconventional I know and i'm sure someone will probably say I shouldn't have, but I put my tank above the diff.(see pic) which made the routing somewhat easier
My reasoning also being that it was away from the rear panel and less likely to get damaged if I got rear ended.(oo er missus !)
Boot space is still the same, just a different shape.

Makes your centre of gravity higher, means you can't have a luggage space.. can't see a problem with a high tank apart from those.

We have routed ours along rear subframe using copper pipe and up into the tunnel near to the diff. Then (for the blade) it's on the correct side to feed the brute!

That way we don't have to cross the gap to the front...

I reckon luggage space is better actually, as you can get a bigger suitcase vertically behind the tank than you'd get horizontally above it. As for C of G.. my fat arse low down should compesate for a few litres of unleaded a bit higher up.

That's not me drivin' in the avatar by the way its my "assistant"

Jonti,

Thats what I'm hoping to do with my fuel tank as well, gonna have to have a close look at the chassis and see what sort of shape/size I can get in the whilst keeping it as low as poss.
