Pedal Box : Help

I have cut up all the pieces for my pedal box now but i'm a little but unsure asto how much room i should be leaving to allow the pedals to move back and forth freely but not side to side.

I have some nylon bushes that will be a push fit into my pedals. Then an M10 bolt through the middle.

Do i need washers between the pedal and the mounting holes to give a nice clean pivot?

Also should the bush be flush with the tube welded on the pedal or should there be a slight be sticking out so that it doesnt start pivoting on the tube instead of the bush?

Thanks

Mikkel

In some ways you have answered the question yourself
either make the bushes 1-2mm longer than the tube or fit a tube inside the bush
1-2mm longer than the bush and use a smaller bot
