Tubing for Luggage Area

Is there any reason I couldn't use 20mm conduit to make the tube which forms the rear of the luggage area?

John.

No problem using 20mm tube but personally I wouldn't use conduit for anything other than conduit it's made from absolute rubbish.

Its not crap, it just has a very high lead content to make it easily workable.

There is no crap metal, just inappropriately used metal

The original stuff made during the war when zinc of the required purity was impossible to obtain tended to self destruct, but modern zinc alloys are fine.

Even mazak has genuine uses, in places where it will not encounter any stresses, or corrosive environments, or anything that a component made of an alloy of sugar and cheese would be considered to be at risk of failing
