Chassis supplier

normally I am on here answering peoples BEC related questions but now I need some pointers from you all -
Got a project coming up and what with our new car and running the workshop I dont have time to start cutting and welding, so quite simply who are the best guys to supply a haynes / book chassis.
Ideally would like the wishbones as well, a sensible budget but quality musy be good.
Over to you guys and girls
regards
Andy

I think HandyAndy was making some chassis kits, either on here or same name on the Haynes forum, not seen the chassis kits but a nice bloke if that makes any difference.

Cheers

Rich

As Rich has said,
i have started a new venture supplying chassis kits in various states of completion, my original plan was to offer a package that allowed a non welding builder the chance to build a Haynes Roadster from the "bolt on " stage,

with respect to forum rules as i,m not yet a registered trader i haven,t posted details on here yet with info on options or prices.

cheers
andy

ps, you,re too kind Rich, nice bloke and all that

When you say Haynes / Book does that mean it has to be the latest Chris Gibbs chassis? If so, others will give you a better idea.

If you want the best original (Ron Champion) book chassis, in my opinion (and it's a common albeit not universal view in the Locost paddock) go to Matt at Procomp.

If you don't want to wait so long (it takes Matt a while and you say you may want several) or want IRS or want something a bit cheaper I'd go to Steve at Aries Motorsport. I'm sure you know the score with what was the Stuart Taylor chassis anyway.

TC

Edit to add that I, like you, tend to follow the 'race proven' ethos these days.

There is some bloke making a full set of bodywork for the Haynes Roadster but the name escapes me at the minute...

My Daughter has taken over production of the damn fine Triton race seats and her contact email is emmatrs@live.co.uk.
