Ball Joints

I've got a SAAB 900 uprigths. May I replace the SAAB 900 Ball Joints:

Cone Diameter = 17.2
Cone Proportion = 1/8

with the Toyhota 4 Runner ones:

Cone Diameter = 17.1
Cone Proportion = 1/8

cheers,

Modesto

If the proportion is the same, and the diameter less, they might go too far into the uprights. I can't see any other reason why you could not replace them.
