I've heard talk of a couple of places that fabricate front uprights to Cortina geometry. They're probably lighter than the ford parts.

Hi, and welcome. If you do use Sierra uprights, and why shouldn't you, then the book wishbones will NOT work. I think the bottom ones will, but
the tops will be too long. Sure that you can get the correct ones, but don't know from who, sure somebody on here will know. Cheers Ray

Looks like just you and me mate. I am sure that people building the book car have used the Sierra uprights, so somebody must know the difference. My
only sugestion would be to contact those companies that build cars that are based on the Ron Champion book, one such would be GTS, although some would
say stear well clear, my dealing with Darren has always gone well, so speak as you find. I am sure that they do wishbones to suit the standard book
car fitted with Sierra uprights, anyway worth a try. HTH Ray

Doesn't the haynes roadster use the sierra uprights? - Check in your local halfords!

Yes it does but the chassis is wider so the wishbones won't fit "the book" car. Cheers Ray
