Halfords Trade Card
Just wondering about applying for a Halfords trade card
Should be fine with the qualifications & invoices etc But just wandered *if* the savings were big enough to bother doing it ?
ie savings on oil, plugs etc

I think this has been previously discussed, but yeah the saving do vary quite considerably, but oil is definitely one of the better savings.
The one problem is you can never tell how much discount your likely to get until your at the till!
Rust is lighter than Carbon Fibre!

I can't imagine it's cheaper than having an account at a motor factors is it?
I used my mates trade account the other day for 2 service kits plus oil plus other bits. I was astounded at the saving it gave me over their retail
cost.
Most stuff was half price, some was even less.
I paid £8 for 5lt of oil.

I have one and its general 10% off but I bought a poer charger -33% and the other day bought soem £21 plugs and got them for £13.31.
Well worth it IMO.

i go upto the parts counter and ask for the before and after price they always give them. some things have a good discount others dont. well worth
having one last time i used it i got an £8 buld for £1.50

used mine yesterday to by some wynns cooling system flush marked at £4.99 paid £1.20 at the till using the trade card!!! just be aware that discounts
vary wildly depending on what you buy
