Harness mounting height advice please
Hi all,
I am now considering the top mounts for a four point harness. Champion book chassis.
1. What is the IVA requirement for the height of the eye bolts from the floor / seat?
2. What thread size do people advise for the eye bolts?
3. Where can I get some suitable threaded tube to weld between my double top tubes (I added a second, parallel to the book design, spaced with a
2" gap)
Advice and/or pictures much appreciated. Thanks

Your picture is just how I plan to do mine. Where did yo get the threaded bar?
Do you have Any thoughs on a design for a headrest if one is not part of the seat?

Usually 7/16 UNF though some harnesses are 8mm HT.

Not ones that can pass IVA. That requires 11mm or 7/16" at 8.8 or better.
Note 3 in Seatbelts chap31 of the manual.
