SORN
My car is currently declared SORN (1st time i have done this) I wish to Tax it in advance for 1st April. However, i have been led to believe that if
you have a vehicle that has been SORN, you can only tax it 2 days in advance instead of a couple of weeks where the vehicle is already taxed and is
coming up for its renewel. Is this true ? Thanks......

Yes, because tax discs only have an expiry date, not a start date, if they gave them early when you were on SORN you would be getting a couple of
weeks for free.

Taxing mine from the 1st so will have to do that. I assume your ok to drive without the tax disc as that will take a few days to arrive?

You have 14 days grace I think it is in which you can drive without displaying and are waiting for the disc to arrive which was re introduced with the
introduction of taxing online.
Don't be driving without it taxed for 13 days though and then pick it up from the post office on the 14th day
