sierra chassis?

hi am looking at building a sierra based locost with my two eldest boys ( both 11)
am looking at using a sierra donor and was wondering how different from book chassis will need to be?
it will mainly be kids project with me helping out.
we have re-built landys and a jag so they are both quite competant mechanicaly.

You would be best going for a Haynes Roadster instead of a Locost. They are very similar cars, but the Roadster is more up to date and uses the IRS and rest of the donor parts from the Sierra. We have a forum over on the Haynes site for any questions people have:

welcome to the mad house, have you tried handyandy he sells pre cut chassis on the other forum and works at saturn sports cars based in hartlepool.
I think you have the first book which is different from the build a sports car book.





Think about it, think about it again and then do it.
