best way to wire fuel pump..?
Just bought the facet silver top fuel pump just wondered which is the best way of wiring? can i use the red wire going to the lumenition >? or
should i go back to the ignition ? if so which one on the standard sierra ignition switch ? wats the yellow?

Do you mean direct? Hope not!
I would use a seperate fused supply switched by a relay connected to the ignition (out) terminal of the ignition switch.

Robby,
You would be well advised to get a manual from Sierra (assuming that's yor donor) and copying the wiring from that. No disrespect, but it sounds
likely you are pretty green with regards to wiring. Using the original wiring schematic and the manufacturer's wiring you can't
'really' go that wrong. Petrol/electrics don't go together too well

Is is advisable to have a "Switch" on the line to the fuel pump.?
Scot's do it better in Kilts.

As a safety feature no oil pressure = no fuel pumping into carbs, but there is a bypass switch to overide this.
