Rivets, what type and a supplier
What are your rivet recommendations, Ali, Stainles or Monal for ali to steel?
Is 4mm suitable for paneling?
What size for the floor and do you suggest the large head type?
To seal at the time of riveting or seal round after?
Can you recommend me a good supplier of these items?

Hi
we have always used a good quality 3.2mm or 1/8" aluminium rivet
Every 50mm or 2" along the length of the panel. I would strongly recomend using TIGER seal if they are stresed panels, ie floors and bulkheads.

What length of rivet would you recommend for fixing ali floor panels to box section chassis?

Give primary fasteners a call very helpful and good price for the real thing (not cheap hardware pop-rivets as most poeople/kit-suppliers seem to
sell). You probably want the multi-grip 4.2mm ones.
Sealed mine with PU before insertion in most places (dipped in before inserting and pulling). The miltigrip ones supplied by Primary fasterners will
seal the holes quite well anyhow they expand, PU just makes sure.
