Seat belt lower mounts

The IVA manual appears a little vague about this, my chassis has the following mounts on it.

Now obvioiusly I need to drill through the plates, but should I weld a 7/16 nut on the back of these plates? Willl this be sufficient?

How have other people sucessfully put their car through IVA with similar mounts?

When i ordered my sabelts from them direct, i also asked for 4 mounting plates that have a 7/16 nut on oneside and just bolted it through, i didn't need to weld it
but that was for sva
ETA my plates were horizontal so you couldn't even see them as they were underneath

Drill through and weld captive nut on the BACK. Photograph the mount before all the panels go on from a few angles to show at the test (not a requirement but makes life easier for them and keeps them happy). Use Loctite and when they ask how it's locked tell them Loctite (same as main manufacturers).

Edit... Bolts and lock-nuts are Ok but not as easy should you ever want to take the belts out. Make sure your bolts come through by several threads in either case.

An important IVA requirement is to be able to unbolt the harness using one person, easy enough for the outside mounts, so these don't need captive nuts butdifficult if not impossible for the inside mounts, especially when covered.
This is why IVA likes captive nuts

really? never saw that one, just that you have to be able to remove the harness without doing it any damage

thought you had to be able to release the harness with one hand - ie be able to get out of your seat using just one hand to release the seat belt.
