mx 5 for a mev

i'm looking for an mx 5 before i place my order. i've located a 1999 v reg 1.8 with 105k on the clock which is on cat d. it needs a bonnet and a wing and 1 light as i can see from the photo's. what will be a good price for this car???? and where can i have the engine checked over (rebiult if ness). cheers steve.

just got a perfectly good 1.8 with 10months mot for £800 to build an exocet from what you describe soulds like you should be paying less than £800, key thing to look for is good hood and seats straight body if you want to make money back selling parts off.


p.s i have seen mx5 engines with 200k so you shouldnt really need to rebuild it if its been looked after
