chassis extension
could a 7 style kit be extended to a 4 seater and still pass the sva the reson i ask is my kids are growing up and want to go with dad in the kit

there is a vindicator on the market which does just that, IMO it is FUGLY but each to their own
Life is like a bowl of fruit, funny how all the weird looking ones are left alone

vindicator did a 4 seater, maybe worth a google. Personally I don't like the proportions.
iva is the new test (slightly more tricky than SVA).
No obvious reason why 4 seater wouldn't work, but you'd need to make sure you had the structural calcs sorted rather than just stretching
and crossing your fingers.

Might not that be a bit unsafe for the Sprogs?
Sevens, of any description, are only marginally more 'crash safe' than a Motorcycle.
