Track Rod Ends

Can anyone help me by measuring the length of the threads on the ends of the standard Escort Mk2 steering rack
and how much thread should be in the track rod end to be safe.

Thanks

Keith

Thanks Ernie,
I can go out to play on Sunday, now that I have reassured my self, the wheels wont drop off.
I have a good 19 mm of thread screwed into the track rod ends.
Its quite worrying not knowing how much thread is left, after someone else has adjusted the tracking.

Thanks again,

Keith.
