V5 lead time from DVLA?
Bought a car Sept 29th and sent off the DVLA paperwork, but no new V5 back yet. Called to chase this afternoon, but closed until Monday.
Anyone know how long they're taking at present - seems longer than normal to me?

It took about a month and a half for me to get the V5 when I bought my Leon.
If disfunction is a function, then I must be some kind of genius.

I changed my car 3 months ago and it took over 2 months for the V5 to come back - they did send me confirmation after a month that they were dealing
with it

Did one about 2 weeks ago and it took a week exactly. I sent it by recorded delivery as they have been known to lose v5's.
I spent a lot of money on booze, birds and fast cars. The rest I just squandered.

Will be chasing Monday first thing, just wondered what times other people were seeing from them.
Never had much faith in them, they seem to make hard work of the most simple tasks!
