Lower seat belt mounts with adjustable seats

When I built my chassis I put the lower seat belt mounts somewhat too far backwards in the chassis.

The problem with this is that there's little to encourage the seatbelt to be pulled downwards so they ride up under the rib cage- uncomfortable generally and dangerous in a front-ender.

I've now fitted adjustable seat mounts and so with other drivers with shorter legs the problem will be even more pronounced.

I could just weld some more mounts on further down the chassis in the position for my legs.... but then they will still be wrong for those with shorter legs!
I could weld several sets of mounts on at varying places and then move the belts when the seat moves (a somewhat inelegant solution and a pain to wind the bolts in/out each time!). IF I change to eye bolts and different belts with 'clips' this would be less arduous but still a bit lame. (and I can't afford new belts right now. )

Adjustable seat belt mounts is done with tintops as the clip moves with the seat... has anyone replicated this?

Any other thoughts on the matter?

I want convenience, safety and lightweight!

Cheers,
James

P.S. Why the hell am I asking this at 3am!
