Pictures of an IRS Chassis

Hello everyone!

Please could you post some pictures of your IRS chassis? in particular the rear section.

I am in the process of designing my own setup for the rear end, and would like to see some other setups for some ideas.

Thank you,

Chris.

Trawl the photo archives for MK indy makers. Check out mine (Bob C) for an mx5 based system - you'll need to find your local mazda scrappy for the uprights.

Look in my archive. I am in the process of building my IRS (ie. today) and I should have some more pictures in there tomorrow.

Cheers Adam,

What rear upright is that? Is it self fabricated to suit a Sierra rear hub?

Thanks,

Chris.

Chris:

I just started a very bland website. It does have pics for you to look at. Mine is exactly the same as Bob C but has inboard dampers.

You may think your site is bland but you have plenty ideas and information in your pictures.
Good start make sure you finnish it.

I like the cradle doubling up as a brace in the engine bay area.

Nice site - looks like your Mona Lisa is enjoying it as much as you. They are going to have a blast when it's done.

Hi Chris

I have some pics in my archive that may give you some ideas. The uprights are my own fabrication, think theres a pic of them to. The rear wishbones and support frame are also my own design. Hope this may help. Chippy.
