Front and side impact protection tests in SVA
I've just had a look at the DVLA's pages about the SVA and it says that they will require "evidence of compliance" in respect to side and front
impact protection on vehicles made after 1st Oct 2003.
Ummmm....as anybody else come across this or knows how it will effect LoCost ?!?

Anbody know how MK etc. plan to resolve this?
I wonder how 'removable' such a structure could be and still pass SVA? Or would it have to be welded in place?
Anyone got a Dutton V5 for sale?

hi
i @think@ this was talked trough on tol.
There are TWO forms the sva can take - but i dont have the info to hand. the more stringent one is for built imports and is where the side protection
bit comes in.
check for yourself to be sure tho
