anyone recognise this
built to take mx5 running gear apparently from blackpook area anything glaringly obvious wrong with it reason to walk away

Haha goto photo archive at the top or if they are in Dropbox etc just goto the photo image with the mountain above and copy the image link eg
img......

unless it,s freeish i would walk away, you can buy a runner for a lot less than it would cost to put that on the road (imho)

what the plan is to get a kit chassis that i can adapt to fit and put a old mini body over it so front engine rwd with obvious cut and repanelled
bulkhead to duit i cant find much on the conversion so making it up as i go along this at £300 seemed like it could possibly be a candidate

There was/is that very build for sale on FB classic mini shell grafted on a locost chassis just didnt look right wheel track to wide etc....

i did see that those arches were awfuli dont mind if its wider in fact ime expecting it but i would make steel widerear quarters and matching wings
like a vauxhall nove but a fair bit wider

Would probably be easier to do one of the rwd rear end mini conversions using a fwd transverse engine or the MGF engine complete with subframe and
wishbones, search zcars and Speed3 (now birch motorsport) and the kimini which has plans available to build from scratch if you have welding skills
and gear. The midlana (kimini based) or Sylva j15/riot may be able to be adapted but would probably be costly.
