Finally Got My Welder!!!!



Factory Reconditioned and $150 less than brand new. Now I must purchase my tubing. i got a price for $0.88 foot for 1" Square from a local vendor. Hope to pick it up next week.

OH Yes I forgot LEARN TO WELD!

Very nice looking welder too. i was told the best way to see if your welding is up to scratch, is to beat the hell out of it with a large hammer- if it breaks then turn her up

I was told the best way to see if your welds are strong enough is to beat them to hell with a flailing propshaft at 100mph. If they bend and crush but don't shear apart your laughing..... (or crying)

Normal is getting dressed in clothes that you buy for work and driving through traffic in a
car that you are still paying for - in order to get to the job you need to pay for the clothes
and the car, and the house you leave vacant all day so you can afford to live in it.

That depends on if you welded the propshaft yourself...

Hi there a good project to start with is a trolley for your welder and if that works out the Practice on some shelf brackets for the shop and get an auto darkening helmet it will make a real diference .

I made a few cubes like this...



For practice and then hit them with a large hammer until I was happy that they were strong enough.
