Thats insanely fast! Had trouble taking that porsche though... only got it one breaking not acceleration. Though that just could have been him holding back by the looks of the rest of the vid...

Is that footage sped up? The cornering speeds just looked insane for all of those cars! Either way, that's one fast car, what engine has he got in that thing?

its a vr6 turbo, not sure about 4x4 though. on the side it says I4, not sure if this relates to driven wheels or what...

does handle a bit too well for fwd though.

Theres no way that that car is purley front wheel drive. Anything over 200bhp through the front wheels is stupid as they become pretty much uncontrollable (horendous understeer). I would say it is the 4wd VR6 myself... (It does look a bit sped up yes...probably only by about 5% but it makes a lot of difference)

That's awesome - if it is sped up, then the other cars would be very slow, surely.....

Yep, awesome, but there was a Scooby (I think) that pulled
away on the chicane but got obliterated on the straight.

Scooby seemed to just run out of puff to me, but I'm often wrong....

Have to say wasnt' THAT impressed for something with 550, it had plenty of trouble with the 911 and in the corners seemed to wobble, prolly difficult to get the power down when the wheels are straight ahead, not my thing really, too much like a drag car, which is why I'm building a seven and not putting a turbo and nitro onto a fiesta!

Hmmm

To quote the old racer's adage: "Everyone's fast on the straights".

4WD golf with a whacking great big turbo on it: you can hear him put his foot down still in the corner so that by the time he hits the straight the turbo is blowing.

Impressed I am not.

That video is definately increased speed. A car going around those corners, that fast would be almost impossible unless it was on rails. When on board footage was shot, the background moves a whole lot slower! Still a mighty quick car though...
